These KlusonŽ brass body ferrules are designed to be mounted flush with the surface of the finished body with no lip giving you an even smooth appearance in the back of the body while securely holding the string ball in place. The outside is smooth and not knurled. Not a drop in replacement for FenderŽ string ferrules.
