The ModTone Overdrive pedal delivers classic tone with modern reliability, inspired by the legendary vintage 808 overdrive circuit. Designed for players who want smooth, responsive breakup without sacrificing clarity, this pedal adds warmth, sustain, and definition to your sound.
At its core, dual high-grade op-amps provide rich, dynamic overdrive with excellent note articulation. The 3-position Deep switch lets you shape your low-end response, giving you added flexibility to tighten or thicken your tone depending on your playing style. A transparent buffer preserves your signal integrity, ensuring consistent performance across your entire rig.
With true hard-wire bypass, your natural tone remains untouched when the pedal is off. Optimized with a 1M Ohm input impedance and 1K Ohm output impedance, it integrates seamlessly with a wide range of setups.
Built for both stage and studio use, the ModTone Overdrive includes a built-in 9V battery compartment and can also be powered by a standard 9V center-negative adapter (not included), making it a dependable and versatile addition to any pedalboard.
